Earth Sentinels’ two colossal busts, crafted from concrete, serve as a gateway – and as an essence of guardianship, as well as reminders to embrace presence, courage, and responsibility in our stewardship of the earth.

Intricately hand-carved roots and vines intertwine within and around the figures, stretching towards the heavens, with the roots that grow out of the figures’ minds symbolising the connections between all living beings – and suggesting the harmonious relationship we should nurture with nature.

As darkness descends, the skilled creators of the Collab group harness the power of projection mapping to create an ever-changing visual life for the Earth Sentinels – letting the artwork become more than just its physical existence, and moving it into the realm of dreams, imagination, and a connection with oneself.
